We held our first Tournament Of Champions (TOC) Monday! The tournament was scheduled for Sunday but the weather was going to be cold and overcast and the next day was much warmer and sunny, so, since this was a finite set of players that could play (15 TOC winners) we were able to contact all and get quick feedback on making a change. As it turned out all but two players played, one had a doctor appointment and the other strained a muscle and decided not to play. Two other players that would not have played on Sunday were able to play Monday so we made the change. The weather was much better! We had two flights, three players qualified for TOC for next year…see scoring sheets below.
First flight winners were Doug Speakman, First Gross and Bill Shelton First Net. Bobby Taylor came in 2nd net. Bill and Doug qualify for 2023 TOC!
Second Flight was smaller so only had two winners. There was a tie for 1st Net so had a scorecard playoff for first. John Kraemer won that so Will Allred came in Second Net. John qualifies for 2023 TOC!
