All right! We had our first annual Club Championship for the Bull Creek Men’s Golf Association! We only had 8 members play for the title this year and two of our best players did not participate, Tom Hiller and Dan Trotter, both plus handicap players, were not there. Scores were higher than normal for all but the three winners. Doug Speakman shot two strokes above his handicap to win Low Gross, Brandon Summers shot two strokes below his handicap to win Low Net and Joel Hafner shot 2 strokes above his to win 2nd Low Net. Doug’s name will go on the BCMGA Club Championship Trophy in the Bull Creek lobby as the first Club Champion. Brandon is the latest member to qualify for the Tournament of Champions (TOC) Saturday and Sunday the 4th and 5th of November! I believe we have 22 people qualified for TOC right now. The list of qualified players, less Brandon, is on the bulletin board in the Snack Shop.

Our last major tournament for this year will be the TOC in November. Our last tournament of the year will be the Christmas Tournament, 9 hole CHA-CHA-CHA followed by lunch and voting for 2024 Board Members. As soon as we set the date for that tournament, everyone please put that one on your schedule and try to play or just show up for the lunch and annual meeting and voting for 2024 Board of Directors!
