This was the last tournament of our 2023 year. We play just 9 holes then have a luncheon (hamburger, fries and fountain drink) for our members. Board member vote for two year terms, odd years we vote on three Board members and even years we vote on four members. We also have our Raffle. This year we raffled off a one year membership to Bull Creek Golf Course.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Having only three teams we only paid one place. Tom Hiller, Don McClintock and Bill Shelton won but just by one stroke! We paid out $150, $50 per player. Those three all qualify for 2024 Tournament of Champions (TOC).
RAFFLE RESULTS
For the Raffle each member gets one entry ticket for every tournament he has played in the year. Matt Robbins was the winner this year. He joined late in the year and only played in a few tournaments so he only had a few tickets, still his was the magic ticket! He wins an annual weekday membership, non transferable but is upgradable!
BOARD VOTE FOR 2024 TWO YEAR TERM
Doug Speakman, Bill Shelton and Dean Wilson’s terms were up. No others decided to run and there were no write in votes so these three were elected unanimously.
SIGN UP FOR 2024 YEAR!
New memberships for 2024 will be $80 and renewals for 2024 will be $70. Most of the cost goes to pay for your access to GHIN, the GSGA’s handicap system. The rest pays for the Board member’s annual fee, website, trophy’s, annual lunch, Raffle, etc. Looking forward to the start of our 3rd year for this groundbreaking organization here at Bull Creek!!!
