TWO PERSON SCRAMBLE MONDAY FEB 26TH

Monday, Feb 26^th we had our first tournament of the year 2024, a two-person scramble.  We played the West course.  It was rough from the big rain that had closed the course and we did not play the sand traps as they were still not rebuilt and groomed but the weather was awesome.  We had six, two-man teams and paid half the field.  Don Bryan is our new Tournament Director and this was his first tournament.  Let’s all bear with him as he gets the hang of being Tournament Director.   For this scramble we combined the total handicaps of both players, paid one flight, 1^st Gross, 1^st Net and 2^nd Net.  Bobby Taylor and Bob Wade tied for first gross with Doug Speakman and Mark McCabe. Bob and Bobby won in a scorecard playoff!  Both first place teams qualify for the TOC scheduled for October.  Close up winners are detailed on the attached picture.
