Saturday March 16th we played a Two Person Better Ball tournament on the West Course. We had 12 players and 6 teams. Looking at the scores, the NET scores were VERY close but there was a wider range in the GROSS scores. In Golf Etiquette, you determine the GROSS winners first before determining the NET winners. Since we had a tie for First Gross we had a scorecard playoff resulting in the #6 team of Bill Shelton and Peter Anderson winning first Gross. They also would have won first Net but since one team cannot win both, the next lowest Net team score was the #2 team of Robert Bloomer and Joel Hafner. Both teams qualify for the TOC!

NEXT TOURNAMENT THURSDAY MARCH 28TH WEST COURSE 10 AM SHOTGUN
We worked it our with Bull Creek for us to play at the same time that Red Oak shot guns their tournament. We will get our hole assignment and scorecards and be prepared to tee off at 10 AM weather permitting. This will be an Individual Medal tournament. If there are enough players it will be flighted. If not we will pay 1st Gross, 1st Net and the rest net. All golfers will get their full handicap. Sign up sheets and rules are posted in the Snack Bar on the Bulletin Board.
