We had twelve players with varying handicaps, not enough for two flights. We paid 1st Gross, 1st Net and the rest net. There were several tournaments that day and there were not enough measuring tapes to do 4 Closest to Pin so we just chose two and paid $15 each instead of $10 each. We tried something different; Red Oak has a shotgun time on Thursdays but does not use all the slots, so we were allowed to shotgun our tournament with theirs. The weather was good except for some high winds and wet conditions. Scores were unusually high, no one shooting in RED numbers (below par even with their strokes).
The next tournament will be a weekday event scheduled for Wednesday, April 10th on the East Course, Two-man Total Net. Take both players NET scores and add them together.
