Sunday 24th 11:30 AM 3 person Shamble
SHAMBLE format
This is a modified Scramble format the MGA has not played before. On each drive (including par 3’s) the team selects one drive, then each player will play their own ball from that point through the green and record each players score. So on each hole you have three scores. We will use scramble rules allowing each player to lift clean and place their ball everywhere EXCEPT penalty areas. Final decision on how to play sand traps will be made on the day of the tournament.
How Do You Calculate Handicap for Shamble
To calculate your handicap for a shamble, multiple your handicap by 0.8. Add up the handicaps of your team members after this adjustment, then deduct the team handicap from your gross score to get the team net score.
As usual, a sign-up sheet with rules will be placed on the Bulletin Board in the Bull Creek Snack Shop. Since the tournament director is out of town, you can also sign up by texting or emailing Doug Speakman…contact info below.
