OCTOBER GOLF

Members of the Bull Creek MGA,

October is going to be a great month for golf in Columbus!  Our MGA is going to try one more time to get a good turnout for our Club Championship.  It is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, October 11^th and 12th.  Everybody please try to open up your schedules for our second Major tournament for this year, our two-day event costing just $30 per player entry fee for both days.  We will have two winners, First Gross winner for our best player and First Net for our best handicap player!  I sincerely hope many of our 22 members will be able to play this time!

There are two other tournaments happening I would like to mention.  Our Bull Creek Golf course is hosting our City Championship again this year, Saturday and Sunday, October 25th and 26th!  There will be three Division’s, Bule Tees, White Tees and Gold Tees (Senior and Super Senior).  Entry fee for this event is $50.  Signup sheets are in the Bull Creek Pro Shop.  Trophies for the past events are in the lobby of the Pro Shop with the names and year of each event.  Many of you will want to play in this event as well.  Another club, Valley Seniors, will be playing again at the Columbus Country Club (CCC) Thursday, October 16th.  Rates for guests of members are $121 per guest.  Valley has a special rate that is much better!!!  They are also allowing nonmembers to join Valley early and have the fee applied to the year 2026 as well as the last three months of 2025 in case any of you are interested in joining Valley Seniors and playing CCC for their special rate.
