CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP DATES

ATTENTION MEMBERS;

One member pointed out that the week end we have chosen for the Club Championship is the same date as the Georgia/Auburn football game.  I have polled just a few members I have seen at the course and most have said that it would not keep them from playing.  A few pointed out that this will be a “prime Time” football game and will likely not be telecast until after 3 PM and maybe even at night to get higher audiences.  They pointed out that our game would be over by starting time and give us time to get the Saturday round in before the game.  So, unless you are actually attending the game it will not be a factor.  

We are considering whether or not to change the date to the weekend before the 30th, which is the 23^rd and 24th, or keep it the same.  I am looking for your opinions so we can make the best decision for our members.  Can each of you please respond as soon as practicable if keeping the original date would work for you and/or if it would be better to change the date.  Thank you in advance for your responses!
