CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP MOVED TO NEXT WEEKEND!

With all the rain coming from the hurricane we decided to move the Club Championship one week from the 14th and 15th to the following weekend the 21st and 2nd!  Fortunately, the weather for the following weekend looks fabulous, no rain, sunny skies, high of 85 degrees.  Several people have reconfirmed they will be playing.  We have 5 tee times reserved both days which will allow us to have at least 20 players which is half of our membership.  Our club started just three years ago and to the best of my knowledge Bull Creek has never had a Men’s Club before….I know, hard to believe.  We did not have a Club Championship the first year, 2022.  We scheduled one but the weather just would not cooperate for a few scheduled dates we gave up on 2022 and had our first Championship in 2023.  This will be our second year and I hope a lot of you will decide to come out and play.  A dream of mine is to have enough high and low handicap players to have two flights, one for higher handicap players and another for lower handicap players.  We will have two champions, one low Gross and one low NET.  We will be playing as close to REAL golf as we get for the Championship playing the ball down everywhere except in the fairways and traps.  In those areas we will allow players to move the ball a scorecard length (about a foot) in addition, in traps you will be allowed to rake the area you can drop in and actually place the ball.  The usual roots and rocks rule applies as well.

Everyone please confirm with me as soon as practicable if you will be playing so that we can add or subtract necessary or unnecessary tee times.
